BOXARR at the Farnborough International Airshow 2018

‘Farnborough’ remains the biggest and best-known brand in global airshows. The rich heritage of the show means that the Farnborough Airshow always hosts exhibitors presenting a wide range of the newest technologies and innovations. Businesses are seeking new opportunities and are looking for the latest solutions to improve their business performance.

The Farnborough International Airshow is certainly the most significant trade show for BOXARR, and again in 2018, it has proved to be very valuable. We had an excellent opportunity to advertise and promote BOXARR to both a highly targeted market and a broader audience that may have had little or no knowledge of our unique and powerful platform. As we have just gone through re-branding, being at the Farnborough International Airshow was essential to continue building our brand awareness.

We had many interesting and promising "walk-up" meetings at our booth by both potential customers and alliance partners resulting in a number of follow-up meetings already locked in.

We also had visits to our booth and formal meetings with international delegations including Singapore, South Africa, Australia, and the USA. One of the highlights was a brief meeting with the Governor of the Bank of England, Mark Carney, where he showed interest to model complex economic systems in a more effective way than their existing tools. Another exciting opportunity for BOAXRR was a meeting with Baroness Rona Fairhead after which she indicated that the UK Government may now be ready to use BOXARR to model various "no-deal" Brexit scenarios.

Being involved in the Farnborough International Airshow provided us with an excellent opportunity to reach out to many potential new customers.
